| WELCOME TO KIDZ CORNER MIRAMAR
The centre provides an environment where Christian beliefs and values are incorporated into daily experiences and conversations, and reflects New Zealand’s bi-cultural heritage and our multi-cultural community. Our teaching team builds relationships with parents that foster a sharing of information about their child. The programme reflects the routines and customs of home, and also supports children’s individual development giving them the opportunity to develop independence, curiosity and creativity. Our curriculum is planned so that it supports the foundations for children’s lifelong learning and provides opportunities for self-selected and guided play, for early numeracy and literacy concepts. Our goal is that children are healthy in mind, body and spirit, secure in a sense of belonging and inspired by knowing their contribution is valued. Kidz Corner staff encourage the continuity of education and care right through to the school years. We recommend that children attend only one childcare facility. 20 Hours ECE
